Exploring Ashburn, VA: Top Neighborhoods, Attractions, Restaurants, & More

If you've lived here for any amount of time, you know that Ashburn - now a bustling suburb of Washington, D.C., was not too long ago an expanse of farmland. Though it can be sad to let go of undeveloped areas, Ashburn does indeed offer housing, community, amenities, and more. And now, the plan that has been in place since the 1970s to bring the Metro from DC all the way to Ashburn has finally come to fruition now in 2024. So you experience the comfort of "small town" living with the convenience of travel to D.C.

A special part of Ashburn is the "older" area (nothing in Ashburn is truly old). These neighborhoods are more well established, have good schools just like the rest of the county, and plenty of housing options. If you're looking for a place to live that is family friendly or just people friendly, look no further than Ashburn, VA.

Note: if you're interested in any of these homes or selling yours in the Ashburn area, I am your friendly neighborhood Realtor that has lived here for 30+ and is happy to help you with all your real estate needs. Please reach out! (202) 827-5069 Maureen Landes, Realtor, NHCB
